HISADA, Noriko
久田典子(1963.3.10-)
Born in Tokyo, Noriko Hisada studied under Joji Yuasa and Shigeaki Saegusa. As a student, she won awards such as 3rd prize in the 55th Japan Music Competition and the Nagoya Culture Promotion Prize. Since then, she has won other international awards including 1st prize in the International Valentino Bucchi Competition , ISCM World Music Days , and 2nd prize and the Moeck Verlag Prize in the International Kazimierz Serocki Competition .
Her composition "Das Höllenbild" (chamber opera) was performed by Ensemble fÜr neue musik zÜrich in Switzerland for 5 nights.
She released two albums under Hat Hut Records Ltd; "Prognostication", a collection of her works, and “Led by the Yellow Bricks”. The latter was commissioned by Peter Märkli and Peter Regli.
Her album "Imagined Scenery from Myths" was released by Camerata Tokyo.
It was performed at a Hougakuten produced by Nanae Yoshimura, and was introduced as a "Special Selection CD" (Tokusenban) by Record Geijutsu. The two-night solo exhibition was held in Basel in 2024.
