XU, Chenxuan

Chenxuan Xu studied at the middle school attached to China Conservatory  and later at the Central Conservatory of Music. Due to outstanding academic performance, he has been awarded multiple scholarships from the Chinese government.
He has won several composition competitions, including first prize for the string quartet "East of Fusang" in the Yanhuang Cup Composition Competition.
In 2023, his work for Euphonium and Symphonic band "Wandering Thoughts" was premiered worldwide by the conductor Yasuaki Itakura with Gendai Souzou Tokyo(Euphonium solo:Satoshi Ohyama).
Chenxuan Xu studied composition under Rui Xue, Du Yong, and Hu Yinyue.
