KINOSHIRO, Yuko

Yuko Kinoshiro studied composition at Kunitachi College of Music under the direction of Yoshifumi Nakajima, Kazuhiko Koyama and Mitsutoshi Sato. A work by her was selected for inclusion in the programme of her graduation concert. Another work by her was selected in the All Japan Composers Competition sponsored by the Tokyo International Association of Arts (TIAA) and included in the prize-winners’ concert.
She was awarded third prize in the Katsushika Composition Competition (formerly the Hiroshima Competition) and submitted works to the 25th and 26th ‘Domain of 21st-Century Piano Music’ events sponsored by the Japan International League of Artists (JILA). Her creative work embraces the fields of classical music, jazz and pop music, and she has composed background music for corporate promotional videos and music for the Joysound karaoke brand.
