NISHIOKA, Tatsuhiko
西岡龍彦(1952.2.10-)
Professor Emeritus, Department of Musical Creativity and the Environment, Tokyo University of the Arts. Born in Osaka in 1952. Completed his B.A. and M.A. in composition at Tokyo University of the Arts. Recipient of the Second Prize in the 49th Japan Music Competition, orchestral composition division (1980), Accepted the Bourges International electronic Music Competition (1983), Participated in the World Music Days of ISCM-ACL Festival in Hong Kong(1988).
His works include compositions for orchestra, chamber ensembles, solo instruments, as well as electronic music compositions and music for various events and visual images.
