The flow of a river is an expression of time. Humans, animals and all tangible entities are subject to the passage of time and are fated to entrust themselves to it. All manifestations of existence release their momentary light on the river surface, a light that gets caught up in the flow and is extinguished once it reaches the sea. Seawater evaporates to become clouds and the cycle begins again as water flows from the mountains into the river, just like time itself. Once again various forms of existence shine brightly, soon thereafter to disappear from sight.
