INORI NO KAZE for Harp Solo（2017）

I was inspired to compose this work by a visit paid to the Tsminda Sameba church in Georgia. This church is situated on a mountain 2,170 metres above sea level with a background of snow-clad mountains and clouds，creating the impression of a church floating in the sky. The setting was complemented by a gentle，pervasive breeze.
The work consists of three movements.

1. This movement begins with music suggesting a low-pitched bell sounding from far away，moving thereafter towards fast，fragmentary musical ideas.

2. The music develops in various forms centring on a nine-note motif.
