Description
This modest collection of pieces was my second work for piano duet in succession to Chansons de ville ，which I composed in 1970 and is published by Ongaku-no-tomo Sha.
When I received the commission for this work the first idea that sprung to mind was to create a suite arranged so as to constitute an organically linked whole centring on an arrangement for piano duet of Hitsuji wo tsurete (With sheep alongside)，one of the songs that form part of my Hymns for Children (published by Ryūgin-sha). The result was a work consisting of the following five sections.
