Although its title sounds somewhat peculiar, the piece does not depict fizzy drinks themselves, but instead explores the experience and ambience associated with enjoying them:
The introduction evokes a bowl of fruit punch shimmering with iridescent light, along with the moments two people pend chatting over it.
The waltz portrays a child staring wide-eyed at a melon soda float in a retro Japanese kissaten (traditional coffee shop).
