TRITROPE，for Piano Solo（1978）

Composed in 1978. This work was composed vihen I vms still a student on a graduate course at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. The title is a compound word of "TRI" and "TROPE"; the former one means "triple"，and the latter one means "revolution，reflection，refraction". It is a musically varied piece. A performance technique of the melody by tremolo which are appears at the beginning and the end of this work is found on more large scale in my work entitled "HETEROPHONY OF TWO PIANOS AND ORCHESTRA"，composed in 1987.
