THREE VISIONS，for Piano（1994）

Composed in 1994. In the Spring of 1994，I visited India，and stayed few days in Varanasi where is a holy place of the Hinduism alongside the Ganges basin. This work is constructed with three parts such as "Aqua"，"Flame" and "Invoker"，and was composed depended on an inspiration which I could experience during this journey，however，it is not described storylike of my experiences. Individual piece has its own independent substance，and is able to be performed separately，too. Aki Takahashi，a pianist of the premi?re of this work，for example，has been performing the "Invoker" independently as one of the condolence pieces.
