TANGO， for Piano（1998）

This is composed for “Aki Takahashi Piano Recital”， which was held on December 17， 1998， at Sogetsu Hall， Tokyo. And this piece is dedicated to her. The construction of the piece is based on a kind of rondo form， which are the four materials including a rhythm pattern of tango. A principal key is in B flat minor， but the music contains kaleidoscopic modulations. The tempo consistently kept in allegro， and in performing， it would be a technical short piece. This is first time for me to compose this kind of music， and it was new and enjoyable experience for me.
